I’m so happy - not only did the Avengers Iknitiative get First Prize in their category, they were awarded a Best Exhibit prize too! At most the CWA awards one per section (and those people are harsh judges) so it’s a really great sign of recognition. I get a sash and everything! But the best thing? When I went in to see how I’d done, there was a trio of little kids gathered around them and they wouldn’t let their mum move them on until they’d finished naming them all. So the Avengers Iknitiative is not only award winning, it’s also getting little kids excited about knitting!

I fell in love with the new movie of ‘The Hobbit’. And so I’ve decided to knit it. Or at least Bilbo and as many as the Dwarves as I can manage before I get distracted and decide to knit something else. Oh, and Smaug. Must knit Smaug.
